Sarah from Haven and Sarah
Hey Gorgeous!
I have to tell you about a fabulous experience I had recently with one of my incredible clients, Sarah, the florist from Haven and Sarah in Avalon. If you haven’t met Sarah yet, let me introduce you to this amazing boss babe who is as talented as she is inspiring.
Sarah has been running her florist business in Avalon for 10 years, and let me tell you, she has built something truly special. Her shop is a haven for flower lovers, filled with the most beautiful blooms you can imagine. What really stands out to me about Sarah is her deep passion for what she does. From the moment she steps into the market to select her flowers, to the moment she turns the key to her shop, Sarah radiates confidence and love for her craft. It's no wonder her business has been so successful for a decade!
During our chats—often while I’m doing her brows—we talk about everything from business to family. Sarah’s journey into floristry is one of those stories that makes you realise how life can guide you to where you’re meant to be. She started out with dreams of becoming a landscape designer and horticulturist, but after some time in that field, she found herself uninspired. It was her mom who suggested floristry, blending Sarah’s love for design and flowers into a career that she now absolutely adores. We love a mom who knows best, don’t we?
Sarah’s shop is more than just a place to buy flowers—it’s a source of joy and memories for her clients. Whether she’s arranging flowers for a wedding, a birth, or even a farewell, Sarah pours her heart into each arrangement. Every day in her shop is different, and that’s what she loves most. From the joy of selling out of flowers by the end of the day to receiving heartfelt thank you notes from clients, Sarah finds so much fulfilment in her work. It’s not just a job for her; it’s a passion that shines through in everything she does.
And let’s talk about brows! When Sarah comes in, we always have fun deciding what kind of brows she needs for the week ahead. Whether it’s “power brows” for a busy business day or something softer and more natural for a special occasion, we make sure her brows are on point. I love how brows can express so much about who we are and what we’re ready to conquer in the day ahead.
Sarah’s story is a beautiful reminder that loving what you do is the key to success and happiness. When you’re passionate about your work, it’s not just a job—it’s a part of who you are. And that passion? It’s contagious. When people walk into Sarah’s shop, they feel the love and care she puts into every bouquet. It’s the same way I feel when I’m doing brows, lashes, or any of the beauty treatments I offer. It’s all about connecting with people, sharing a bit of ourselves, and making the world a little more beautiful.
So, here’s to all the boss babes out there—like Sarah—who are doing what they love and making a difference in the world, one flower arrangement, or one brow at a time.
Stay Beautiful,
Suzi 🤍
